Learning a very important lesson and a BIG THANK YOU!

I wanted to share a little something with you all.
God is teaching me a little humility.(to not to get too proud and boastful.)
After I finished the memorial pillow.
Then being able to hear all the compliments, feeling the anxiety of waiting for it to arrive at its destination and hearing the reaction when it was received.

I feel the need to let you all know I appreciate all of you.
We all go through our trials where we do not praise God.
Praising God for only the good in our lives.
We all do not realize that even the littlest things we do are a gift that God has given us.
Most of us take for granted being able to see, hear, walk, move and even having our children.
I want to take a moment to thank God for everything in my life including financial difficulty and disagreements that may occur.
I have gone through more than most people I know during my life. (currently working on journaling what I remember from my difficult childhood in hopes to remember some of what my mind is hiding from me.... I want to remember more than 2 incidents... feel free to ask about my life.... I want to use my life to help others that are going through what I went through... YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!)
He is the reason I can go through even the most mind boggling events in life and still be a sweet, loving, caring and sympathetic person.
He is the reason I live today and everyday and without Him.....
I WOULD BE NOTHING OR HAVE NOTHING.

Most of all I want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU TO GOD, whom has given me this wonderful gift.
Through this gift that he has given me I am able to give others smiles, peace, comfort and just the knowledge that someone in this world cares.

My greatest joy has always been being able to make someone smile or feel good when they receive something that God has put in my heart to make.
Most times I do not understand nor comprehend why I am stitching the piece.
At these times God gives me such motivation to stitch that nothing else matters....
At these times I later feel guilty at the absenteeism of mom/wife to my family that this may have created.

I feel that times that I have no motivation to stitch are consequences that I receive for not giving God the proper credit for giving me this gift.

I LOVE YOU GOD AND THANK YOU FOR SENDING YOUR SON TO DIE FOR MY SINS, TO BE RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD AND THEN BE SEEN BY MILLIONS.
Letting us know that no one else deserves our respect, praise, faith and obedience.

I THANK YOU GOD FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE IN MY LIFE(WHETHER IT BE ONLINE OR OFFLINE) THAT GIVE ME THE SUPPORT AND COMPLIMENTS ... THAT I MAY NEED AT JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT.

To be honest with all of you..... I do not give myself enough credit or praise when it comes to anything. Most of the time nothing is good enough.....

Thats is so beautiful and it made me stop and think. Sometimes we do forget that God is behind us and that he sends the hard times to make us appreciated the good he sends. I too have had my fair share of hard times and its all too easy to shun him and say 'Why me' when we should be saying help me know what to do for the best. I never thought of my stitching as a gift from him but now I do, thank you for that.
I also ask him now to look after our Sandy for us and bring her back to good health.

Ah my dear friends. Yes I agree with you both. We sometimes take for granted the simple things in life...that give us life. The air we breath, the food we eat, the houses that keep us safe and warm our families and our extended families and friends. Gratitude...with a capital "G" I am grateful for the ups and downs in my life that keep me real. For in those hard times, my lessons are presented. Lif is NOT promised to anyone, and although we can not CURE, we certainly can care! By caring we heal within as well. We do what we NEED to do. We grow when we NEED to grow and we SHARE always which helps us to move forward in our path. Many hard lessons for us all. Choice is how we proceed with each lesson. I do my best...that is all I can do, I thank GOD for all the blessing that are with me each day. I Thank GOD for the friends that are presented to me as well. I heal...They Heal...Now are prayers Love and Light go to our dear friend Sandy. That she might feel our love and strength and give her the courage that she needs right now. Together we join hands standing strong...one step at a time! My friends...you bring me great JOY...Love Butterflymom
