RIP William Franklin Ullrich
My oldest daughter came home to find that her beloved gopher tortoise William had passed away.
It was a very gruesome sight and I am so sorry she found him.
She was given him in 2009 for Christmas by her boyfriend.
They both said goodbye to him as we buried him.
Please say a prayer for the two of them to find comfort during this time.

It's so sad that she only had the tortoise for 2 years. She probably expected to have him the rest of her life, and he might have outlived her, since they can live for 80 years!
