I have been seeing everyone deciding to do special stitching goals for the New Year. (ex. starting 15 new projects)
I think I am going to do something a little different.
I think for me my stitching goal is going to be working on 7 projects.
The only difference is...
I have a long list of UFO's and I so badly would like to get them finished.
So here is my idea.....
I am going to stitch on 5 of the UFO and also be able to start 2 new ones. That way since most of my UFO are 5x7 or larger.... I can chose to make the 2 new ones be smalls.
That way I can work hard on what needs to be finished and also be able to finish something in the progress....
If those 2 smalls are finished - I can add 2 more new smalls as long as I continue to work on the other 5 UFO's. Should I finish one of the UFO's - I will just add another UFO in it's place.
This way they will keep getting worked on but I still get satisfaction of finishing something and starting something new.
What do you all think? Anyone want to join me in trying to do this?

I am one of the Crazy January 2011 crazies....but your plan sounds like fun. I only have 1 WIP and no UFO's so I thought Minna's would be fun. I be watching your progress....and if you need encouragement I be right there!
That's a good plan, better to start small than to burn out trying to do too much. I haven't even thought about stitching goals for next year. I really haven't stitched anything since July when we moved. Have to get into a groove again!
I rellay like this idea much better than starting 15 new projects. I think I'll join you on this. Except I think the new project I add will be freebies. I have so many of them that I want to do that this will be a good way of working them in. Great idea!
I am thinking of joining you as well! : ) 15 projects does seem sooooo overwhelming at the moment.
Great idea! : )
Excellent idea. This just may be more doable and less frustrating, and who wants to take the joy out of stitching?!?
I think that's a really great idea! If you have UFOs you should finish them but also have something new in the middle so you won't get bored :) Perfect plan!
I don't have UFOs, if I had, I would do the same as you. I'm stitching one project that I had to stop for a bit, just to make christmas gifts and postcards. As soon as I'll have it all done, I'll get back to my project :)
I don't like starting something and leaving it.. I don't usually do that so it's a good thing for me :)
But also.. I don't know if I would be able to start 15 different things.. I thought about that, stitching something and knowing that I have more 14 started? ... probably it would drive me crazy LOL!
Good idea! It will be easier for you to stay on track with the UFO's since they are so big if you have a finish or two to go with them. Can't wait to see your work!
