Music added....

I wanted to let everyone know I added a music player to my blog.
Please let me know if this becomes and issue.... (music type will not be changed)
I wanted to be able to hear music when I read all the wonderful comments you all leave.

All your comments to my work makes me just want to continue stitching and making others smile.

Another biscornu

Well I finished another biscornu a few days ago.
I have one more in the works but that one will have to wait for it's picture to be taken til it arrives at it's new home.
I do not want to have others see it before the recipient does. (SORRY FOLKS!)

Anyway, I have taken a picture of my finished biscornu and put it next to the first one I had done....

Here is another finish and a first...

I want to share with you all my 11th finish for 2009.
This finish is not only a finish but it is also a first!
I have never done a biscornu before and decided to try one.
This was so fun to make now I am dying to do many more.....
HELP!!!! WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE TELL ME THESE WERE ADDICTIVE!!!!!

Many have asked....

Many of you have asked what hubby and I look like. So I found a picture that my oldest daughter took of us while we were at the Monster Truck Jam this past January.
I am not thrilled with the pic but we do not have many pictures of us together.
Hubby is always a goofball.... that is where my kids get it from. LOL

WHOO finish #10 for 2009

Grant it I am not totally satisfied with this.
Although, this is the first time I tried stitching with varigated thread and also the first time trying to make a pouch.
This is a freebie from IHLE-Designs . (I have fallen in love with their freebies)
I did not realize when I started that I did not have enough material so I did the best I could.
I did take off the initials and have not added a button or snap to make it stay closed at this point.
Sorry only 2 of the pics show the actual color of the material- first and last pic.

I will say this design was very enjoyable to stitch and I enjoyed trying to put the pouch together.

A finish or two

Well, I finished a piece yesterday but it was not mine to start with so I am not counting it towards my finishes of the year.

I did finish this pretty rose pin.
Which I had to take 2 pics as the first one shows the actual color but the second one shows the glittery glue that was used.
I also finished this small little piece that I am still deciding how to finish it. (finish #9 for 2009)
