Holy moly......

Another installment of Hardanger updates!!!

Rene from ILCS is teaching us how to do hardanger if you did not know that already.

She had us do a practice heart so that we could do the cutting on a piece that did not matter before doing the cutting on the piece that we have been working on for weeks.

Anyway, I did great on the practice heart. (no mistakes or boo boo's)

So I decided to continue on to lesson 4 - the cutting.
Anxious and very confident.... I proceeded to snip snip snip..... (reminder to self..... don't be too anxious or extremely confident)

Unfortunately, not only did I accidentally cut a fabric thread that should not have been cut but I also cut a stitched thread.

So I told myself to just relax and I mended the material thread that should not have been cut and I replace the one stitch of thread that was cut......

I think I did awesome because I cannot see nor do I remember where the boo boo's are.....
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Wow....you did awesome....I am so proud of you.

When I did my very first hardanger I did not cut the wrong thread at all. Don't ask me how I manage not to do that but I was really good.

Congratulations on your WIP Hardanger First Piece...good for you.....looks so pretty too.

Take care & Happy Stitching

Yeah You did it!!!! Congrats! See it wasn't that hard and you were able to fix what you clipped in error. It happens... no biggie. Both pieces look awesome.

I think this turned out wonderfully! I love the green that you used. Beautiful!

I really need to get my cross stitching unpacked so that I can start up again.
